Procurement Manager
Summary of Responsibilities:

Point person on the procurement process. Creation and ownership of the buying strategy encompassing review of the budgetary needs as well as new Vendor review and set up. Works with the FP&A and Treasury team on cash management. Account specialist will report to this role.

Job Description:

The Procurement Manager will have ownership, develop and manage the procure to pay cycle within Kodiak. Initially to help develop an all-encompassing buying strategy that starts with the review of budgetary needs to new Vendor review and selection to the eventual set up of new Vendors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Works with Financial Planning and Analysis and Treasury on Cash Management Strategies
  • Conduct cost analysis on current vendors
  • Identify needs for change in vendor structure or design of vendor contracts (as needed)
  • Develop and maintain risk management procedures to mitigate losses related to vendors and supplies
  • Review invoices (as needed) to ensure alignment with vendor agreements/contracts
  • Ad hoc projects and reporting
  • Month end reconciliations as needed
  • Month end reconciliation review as needed
  • Coaching and development

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to interact with multiple levels within an organization seamlessly
  • Deadline driven with strong time management skills
  • Strong excel skills
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Purchase Management or Related Field
  • 5 years + direct experience
  • Experience with software and tech enable services a plus
  • Supervisory experience
  • High level GAAP knowledge
  • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $77,154.00 to $168,123.00 per year.
