Job/Internship Description

Role and Responsibilities

The BIOVIA Lab Services team develops the software at the Hub of BIOVIA's Lab Management suite of products. Our software is used by many well-known pharmaceutical companies and plays a key role in allowing customers to improve efficiency while maximizing quality and adhering to regulations as well as drive innovation more than ever before.

The BIOVIA R&D team is looking for a student intern to work with a team that develops innovative software solutions that help support the sustainability initiatives of customers in almost every industry. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the fundamentals of commercial software development within an established, tight-knit, agile development team.

Qualifications

* Previous software development experience.

* Good understanding of Object Oriented design and implementation using Java, Groovy, or other similar languages.

* Good understanding of Web UI technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, ReactJS, etc.

* Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.

* Having an analytical mind, desire to learn, excellent oral and written communication skills as well as a strong orientation to detail.
