Position: Test Technician
Location: Onsite (San Diego, CA)
Duration: 5 Months

Job Description
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Executes test plans and provides feedback to customer on outcomes or issues.
  • Assists with set-up of specialized test equipment, as well as loading and running programs or builds.
  • Performs routine calibration and maintenance of test equipment and tools according to standards and procedures.
  • Performs basic repairs on test equipment as needed.
  • Executes test methodologies for various technology, following established procedures, and documents results.
  • Debugs and troubleshoots routine testing issues or failures and escalates other issues appropriately.
  • Conducts basic analyses and gathers information to identify where an issue has occurred.
  • Collaborates with individuals inside own team to complete the team's work.
  • Communicates with team lead to provide status and information about impending obstacles.
  • Executes individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with supervision.
  • Adapts to moderate changes and setbacks in order to manage pressure and meet deadlines.

Top 5 Required Skills ?
  • 2+ years of basic electrical/electronic engineering, electronics testing, or related experience.
  • Ability to use deductive problem solving is required to solve moderately complex problems; most problems have defined processes of diagnosis/detection
  • Experience with data analysis in terms of troubleshooting and solution discovery
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems or deal with novel circumstances
  • Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
