The Pharmacist Supervisor will provide direct supervision to pharmacists and technical support staff for the Moores/KOP infusion Pharmacy. The position will be a working position within the pharmacy and will report to the Moores/KOP Infusion Pharmacy Manager. The position will resolve problems, interpret policies (e.g. fiscal management, HR, contracts, resource management), supervise drug procurement, dispensing and counseling patients regarding their drug treatments. The Supervisor will oversee the operations of the pharmacy ensuring adherence to productivity and quality standards, internal policy requirements and external regulations. The position will participate in the implementation of quality and patient service improvement activities and suggest ways to improve professional and technical staff utilization and efficiency. The Supervisor will help onboard new staff. The Supervisor will advise and coach staff to identify resolutions for patient issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSDoctorate of Pharmacy degree or equivalent clinical experience.
Registered Pharmacist in the State of California.
Post graduate year 1 [PGY1] In Pharmacy Practice or equivalent experience required.
Five (5) or more years of relevant experience.
Experience and proven success in pharmaceutical theory and industry best practices in optimizing the use of medication to treat patients.
Stays updated on pharmacy state and federal regulations.
Ability to apply principles to an acute care setting.

Annual Full Pay Range: $124,400 - $243,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $59.58 - $116.67
