Main Duties & Responsibilities

Principal Responsibilities

To perform all duties of an Expeditor for the company under the direction of Planner Production Control Specialist.

Specific work Duties/Essential Functions:

Performs in accordance with well established guidelines, necessary functions to assure scheduled completion of materials or parts in an assigned area or to estimate shortages in an assigned department.

- Daily inventories of work centers

- Cycle count support as needed

- Acts in a liaison capacity between departments.

- To assist in estimation of bottlenecks or heavy work load in any particular cost center.

- Keeps well informed on where assigned parts are at all times, and reports to Planner Production Control Specialist.

- Interprets and implements schedules as established by Planner Production Control Specialist.

- May on occasion be assigned temporarily to a specific program or customer account for purposes of "Special Handling".

- Shipping/Receiving Support as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Education/ Experience:

High School Degree plus 6-10 years' experience as expeditor/inventory control

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience in/around metal fabrication function, 6-10 years in manufacturing environment, Microsoft office, word, excel, etc.

Essential Physical/Mental Abilities Required:

Employee is required to sit, walk, stoop, use hands to finger, talk and hear. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

The pay range for this position is $20.67 - $38.46/hour.
