Job Description

The Golf and Membership Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue generating opportunities throughout the club and golf operation, along with promoting and implementing sales strategies to attract new club members and retain existing ones.

Strong knowledge and passion for the golf and club industry, and excellent communication skills are important for success in this role.

Responsibilities
    Must be able to demonstrate a track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
  • Lead inbound sales efforts associated with leisure golf travel, corporate group outings, local corporations, 3rd party distribution and membership inquiries.
  • Lead outbound sales efforts by utilizing Sale Contact Management system (FDC) and Membership CRM tools to reach out to prospective club members and golf and club travel prospects.
  • Expand lead generation by staying visible and relevant to local business and partners.
  • Promote the club at local and community events to support new membership and golf event sales.
  • Manage and oversee strategy for all 3rd party distribution.
  • Analyze overall monthly golf operation financial performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long term pricing and yielding strategies.
  • Support Golf, Membership and Club Directors with golf administration and reporting (as needed)
  • Responsibilities may require up to 10% travel.
  • Effect meaningful and productive communication between sales, resort and golf operation.
  • Attend required meetings, as needed.
  • Assist with member roster changes for additions and cancellations with membership team. Assist with all reports to help capture a clear picture of membership changes and reports.
  • Gather information and help support Member e-blast communications/ Club marketing.
  • Work with membership team to Establish RSVP lists for member events attended by prospective members. greet and check in members at Prospective Member Parties. Maintain accurate RSVP lists for club events & ensure attending members are charged correctly to their member accounts.
  • Assist in all processes and administrative coordination of For Sale List, Processing membership updates.
  • Scheduled Membership Office shifts supporting and assisting member services and relations providing service to members and Department Heads to ensure all challenges and concerns from members are addressed and followed up.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Position requires that the candidate have at least an associate degree, bachelor's degree preferred, and/or three years or more of sales experience.
  • Proficient communication and customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing
  • Understanding of golf course operations
  • Knowledge of the club industry
  • Knowledge of the sales process and/or event planning

Annual Salary Range: $66,560k - $70,000k may earn up to 20% of salary in incentives.

The pay scale provided is a range that Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation offered may fluctuate based on a candidate's qualifications and/or experience
