POSITION SUMMARY

As an Account Manager with Liberty Packaging, you will contribute to the growth and success of our company through winning new business as well as growing existing customer relationships. Our B2B Account Managersdeliver on a go-to-market strategy that helps our customers expand their offerings, achieve cost savings, and deliver margin improvement and profitability for LDI, while maintaining long-term customer relationships.

This full-time hybrid position reports directly to the Director of Sales - Southwest and is based in the Los Angeles metro area, with consistent travel throughout the LA area and occasional travel to our corrugated box plant in Poway, CA.


COMPENSATION
Earning potential for this role ranges from $120,000 to well over $200,000, based on experience and book of business. There is no cap. For the first two years of employment, guaranteed compensation ranges from approximately $120,000-$160,000, based on experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In partnership with the Director of Sales, build and execute a sales and marketing strategy to capture new business at existing customers and identify new customers in a variety of new and emerging industries.
  • Drive new sales opportunities by identifying and effectively pursuing key decision-makers. Execute traditional and go-to-market sales strategies to capture market share, improve profit margin, and deliver untapped value for our customers.
  • Initiate customer relationships and close business utilizing a proven sales process.
  • Leverage our packaging capabilities as you work closely with our talented internal teams, including design, pricing, customer service, production, procurement, and logistics, to design custom packaging solutions that meet our customers' needs.
  • Manage customer expectations and provide an excellent customer service experience.
  • Continue to cultivate long-term customer relationships as you strive to meet their ongoing packaging needs.
  • Monitor market, customer, and consumer trends that impact the business.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

REQUIREDEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • High school diploma / GED equivalent from an accredited institution and 2+ related sales experience OR Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field in lieu of experience
  • Experience planning, implementing, and analyzing new sales strategies
  • Experience in a manufacturing organization is a plus
  • Strong prospecting and business development skills
  • Excellent communication skills and superior resolution and decision-making skills

  • Ability to travel locally outside of home office up to 75% of the time, occasional extended travel.

  • Previous experience in paper / corrugated industry
