Summary:

We are actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our dynamic team as a Payment Subject Matter Expert (SME). In this key role, you will be instrumental in driving enterprise payment initiatives, focusing on the technical aspects and fostering collaboration across IT, business, finance, and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead discussions on the enterprise payment roadmap and strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.

  • Lead in-depth technical payment discussions both internally and externally with vendors, bringing a deep understanding of payment systems and technologies.

  • Facilitate discovery processes to identify opportunities for optimization, innovation, and efficiency within the payment landscape.

  • Resolve interdependencies with various teams, ensuring seamless integration of payment solutions with other business functions.

  • Generate insightful executive-level reports, providing a comprehensive overview of payment initiatives, milestones, and key performance indicators.

  • Prepare the organization for payment-related audits by maintaining comprehensive documentation, conducting internal audits, and addressing audit findings.

  • Assist in third-party due diligence and conduct risk-based testing and monitoring for real-time issue identification.

  • Partnership with product owners, engineers, and development managers across various disciplines to develop requirements and solutions across multiple platforms.

  • Project scoping, including analyzing, defining, and understanding business requests, gathering requirements, preparing budgets, defining process flows, performing risk assessments, and collecting time estimates.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of comprehensive omni-channel payment industry expertise.

  • Proven track record in leading enterprise-level end-to-end payment platforms, technologies, and industry trends, with a focus on driving innovation and efficiency.

  • In-depth understanding of PCI compliance and compliance mandates.

  • Proficiency in various payment terminals and EMV certifications.

  • Expertise in end-to-end omni-channel payment processes, covering digital, retail, and cross channels, encompassing tokenization, pre-authorization, authorization, re-authorization, settlement, and recurring payments.

  • Expertise in data security principles and best practices, particularly as they relate to payment systems.

  • Proven experience in implementing and managing fraud prevention measures within payment systems.

  • Proficiency in utilizing data analytics tools to extract meaningful insights and drive data-driven decision-making processes.

  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, IT, finance, and external vendors.

  • Adept at identifying and resolving complex issues, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to and drive strategic discussions, aligning payment initiatives with overall business goals.

  • Demonstrated experience in successful contract negotiations.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to articulate complex technical details across diverse payment-related topics to non-technical stakeholders.
