Database Management Analyst II

Contingent upon Contract Award

Purpose:

Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a Database Management Analyst II who will be key in providing technical support to NAVWAR.
Located in San Diego, CA

Job Description:

Responsible for configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management.
Work closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle.
Provide change management and product configuration management guidance.

Qualifications:

Must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and at least 2 years in related experience.
Must have at least 2 years of experience in MIDSVue and/or TopVue or combined two years of experience in two or more of the following areas:
- Data Management
- TopVue or similar data management tools, i.e, DOORS, CMpro
- Web-based-document and data management systems
Must be proficient in MS Office applications.

Desired Qualifications:

Prefer bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in business administration or management.
Defense Acquisition University Configuration Management training preferred.
Prefer Institute of Configuration Management training.
Ability to process concurrent tasks and work with other team members to accomplish larger or complex tasks preferred.

Security Requirements:

Must have an Active Top Secret DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain one.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel- less than 10%
If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Pay Range: $85,000 - $99,554 per hour
