Main Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • * Implement TPM, VSM, SPS and promote utilization of key process tools throughout the two facilities to identify and eliminate unfavorable gaps in performance tied to business KPI's.
  • * Develop and deploy DMS using structured problem solving A4 Methodology.
  • * Ability to lead, engage and train employees on TOS and continuous improvement methodologies including but not limited to 6 Sigma, 5S. Lean, OEE and others. Partner with HR leadership on broader training plans and processes.
  • * Responsible for discrete categories of OEE opportunity including tracking downtime results, improving data integrity and developing improvement plans based on the data.
  • * Measure system support to ensure the operations is highlighting the right issues, and assigning employees to continually address the root causes of the biggest issues impacting performance.
  • * Establish and manage systems for "right first time" performance philosophy.
  • * Provide leadership and develop direct report with a clear sense of direction and focus.
  • * Supports safety as a top priority in training, job design and regulatory compliance.

Physical Demands

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma. Including VSM, 6-S, A-3, LSS/DMAIC, SPC, Kanban, Flow, OEE.

The pay range for this position is $66,560 - $134,600 annually.
