Do you want to be a driving force in helping to deliver strong results? Are you looking to join a passionate, and flexible team with growth potential? If so, we'd love to meet you! Aon Equity Services is the country's leading full-service provider of consulting services related to equity-based compensation - providing plan design, valuation, tax & financial accounting, performance monitoring & tracking, employee education and communication, corporate governance, and investor outreach services to hundreds of publicly traded companies each year. Due to the continued growth of our practice, we are seeking to expand our Equity Services team! The primary function of this position is to apply technical and analytical consulting skills to assist clients with the design and valuation of equity-based compensation, through the development and adaptation of Excel-based statistical models (Black-Scholes, lattice-based models, Monte Carlo simulations, etc.), for financial accounting and reporting purposes. The ideal candidate has robust quantitative and interpersonal skills, is a quick learner, is able to support multiple projects while working independently, and has an intellectual curiosity and a desire to stay up to date on an ever-evolving subject matter. Interest in gaining knowledge of the financial accounting standards and tax regulations related to equity-based compensation is preferred. It is anticipated that, over time, the responsibilities will expand to include client communication, project management and account management activities.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work within a team to complete projects, analyses, and meet the needs of clients
  • Construct and/or adapt financial models to estimate the fair value of equity-based compensation
  • Develop economic assumptions upon which the valuation of equity-based compensation is based
  • Prepare reports, exhibits, summaries, presentations, and recommendations for client deliverables
  • Manage the deliverable schedules of multiple projects to ensure timely completion
  • Observe and support meetings and interactions with clients
  • Attend industry training and networking events as well as pursuing applicable industry designations
  • Perform and assist with data collection and analysis for research and development purposes
Suggested Experience:
  • Superior listening skills, the ability to develop insightful questions, and identify and implement the appropriate strategy to successfully address the client's issues
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for interactions with clients and colleagues
  • Flexibility to work in situations where there is no unique right answer
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Visual Basic, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to collaborate well with colleagues in other offices in a fast-paced, often virtual, team environment
  • Working knowledge of statistical methods, data analysis and presentation, and creative problem solving
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or related field is preferred. Other educational backgrounds are considered.
