Job Summary

Roles & Responsibilities

This position has responsibility for:

  • Proactive monitoring of the campus to identify issues and to coordinate corrective and enhancement actions
  • Coordination of contracted services, including the services provided by the building landlord
  • Available to respond to occasional after-hours emergency issues
  • Responsible for enhancing and maintaining the building aesthetics for the 115,000 sq. ft. pSemi San Diego campus

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)

  • Typically requires 5 or more years of relevant Industry experience
  • Able to identify and remediate facilities issues with minimal supervision
  • Self-starter who takes the initiative to resolve potential and existing maintenance-related issues
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Must have CA Driver's license
  • Must be available for occasional on-call response
  • Able to interact effectively at all levels of an organization and across diverse cultural and language barriers.
  • Should have effective communication and organizational skills
  • Computer Skills - Skilled with computers, takes advantage of new technology, learns new tools quickly, uses technology to enhance job performance.
  • Able to perform frequent physical demands such as pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, reaching, etc.

Education Requirements

  • High school graduate; Trade/Technical School Graduate preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing contracted services
  • Knowledge of local service providers
  • The ability to handle a variety of light repairs would be desirable

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.

$33.13 - $40.59 per hour
