As an integral member of the human resources team, the Human Resource Generalist works collaboratively across the HR Team assisting with the development and deployment of business-driven HR projects/strategies designed to attract, manage, develop, motivate and retain key people while creating a high-performance, organization capable of achieving business objectives. The HR Generalist will be responsible for applying knowledge skills and ability to provide a wide range of HR support.

About the role - you will:

 

  • Assist with the daily operations of the HR Business Partner team 
  • Assist with the launch, communication and administration of HR programs and services across all HR specialties 
  • Streamline HR work by creating efficient workflows and documenting standard operating procedures
  • Provide back up support to business partner functions such as responding to employee inquiries, compensation requests, performance improvement documentation and provide reporting as needed
  • Provide day-to-day coaching to management on a variety of actions to enable them to grow and perform at their best
  • Drive integrity and accountability for the effective implementation of the annual HR cycle to facilitate value-added delivery, including workforce and talent planning, performance management, and total rewards

Your experience includes:

 

  • Human Resources experience in a mid to large multinational company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent relationship building and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, solve problems independently, and manage competing demands
  • Familiarity and ability to appropriately interpret HR policies, procedures, and practice
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics and knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • MS Office experience required

 

You might also have:

 

  • SAP SuccessFactors experience

 

Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires we inform you of the estimated base salary range for this position: $61,500.00 – $88,000.00.  Actual salary range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills.  This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
